How Nigerians Can Get a Visa to Spain

The Kingdom of Spain is a country in southwestern Europe, with several small territories on and near the North African coast. Spain has a unique quality it shares with France and Morocco, in that it is one of only three countries to have both Atlantic and Mediterranean coastlines.
Spain actually consists of 17 autonomous regions, with each possessing its own geography and culture.
Its capital is Madrid.

Requirements

These are the required documents for a short stay business visa to Spain:

  1. Passport valid for at least six months after the intended date of travel and validity exceeding three(3) months after your scheduled return + previous passport + two full blank pages to affix the visa;

  2. Three colour copies of the identification page of the passport;

  3. Completed and signed visa applications forms (one in Spanish and one in English);

  4. Two colour photographs (not more than 1 month old) with white background), frontal view (3.5cm x 4.5cm). Photographs should not be stapled to the applications. Please provide one recent photograph (not more than 1 month old) of yourself, which should not have been used previously in the passport. Please stick the Photograph on the Visa Application Form.

  5. The sum of 18,000 Visa application fee to be paid. All payments are to be paid in cash at implant GT Bank at the centre;

  6. Colour photocopies of previous visas (Schengen, USA, UK, Canada, Japan, Australia), if any;

  7. Travel insurance covering all Schengen countries, with a minimum coverage of €30.000, for:
    A. - Medical treatment; B. - Emergency admission into hospital; C. - Repatriation;

  8. Letter of invitation from the organisers if you are attending a conference, seminar, workshop or a sporting event stating (where possible) the name of the host organization, length of stay or other documents proving the purpose of the journey, e.g. entry tickets, enrolments of programmes.

  9. Introductory letter from your employer OR introductory letter from your own company if you are self-employed, stating days of leave granted;

  10. Letter from the school or university For scholars (professors, scholarship-holders, lecturers,
    instructors, etc.) and students;

  11. Pay slips for the past six months;

  12. Personal Statement of Account for the past six months AND that of your company, if you are being sponsored;

  13. General income generated by property, share certificates, bonds, etc. and proof of ties to Nigeria (marriage), if any;

  14. Proof of accommodation for the whole duration of the intended stay: hotel reservations, rental of holiday home, campus residence reservation or proof of private accommodation (invitation from the host);

  15. Flight ticket/reservation including return flight.
