Business Visa from Nigeria to Jamaica
- Nigerians traveling to Jamaica for business must first secure a business visa.
- All documents submitted for the process of securing this visa must be originals or certified (notarized) copies.
- Documents provided by the applicant must be obtained only from accredited sources and departments.
- This visa allows foreigners to negotiate and sign business contracts with their partners in the country.
- Holders of this visa are not prohibited from attending trade fairs, conferences, and business seminars relating to their profession.
- An official letter of invitation from the inviting company in Jamaica is required. The letter must state the purpose and duration of the visit.
- The business letter must also state who will be responsible for the applicant’s finances during his/her time in the country.
- A letter from the applicant’s employer should be provided. The letter must state the applicant’s job position, salary level, and length of employment.
- Proof of previous trade relations between the applicant’s company and the host company should be provided, if any.
- Documents which show that you have the incentive of returning to your country at the expiry of this visa is required.
- Proof of payment of visa application fee should be provided.
- International Certificate of Vaccination against yellow fever is required.
- A child (under 18) who is not traveling with both parents or a legal guardian must be ready to present a notarized parental letter of consent, a notarized copy of their birth certificate and notarized copies of parents' passports upon arrival.
- Anyone applying for this visa must have the following:
- A valid passport
- One passport-size photograph
- Completed Visa Application Form J (signature is required)
- Valid return ticket to his/her country
- Flight itinerary
- Visa fee payable by money order
