Business Visa from Nigeria to Honduras
- This is the type of visa issued to Nigerians traveling to Honduras for business purposes.
- You will need to provide an invitation letter from the Honduran company you will be visiting. This letter will also contain their detailed address, accompanied with the date and actual purpose of your trip.
- If the intention is to attend a meeting or seminar, a confirmation or invitation from the conference organizer/institution is required. If you are employed, you will have to present a certificate from your employer stating or allowing your business travel.
- If you are requesting a Multiple Visa, you will send a letter in which you explain why you are requesting this type of visa.
- There is no transit visa for Honduras and visitors passing through the country must obtain a tourist visa if required.
- Pet dogs and cats require a veterinarian health certificate, plus an import permit from the Secretaria de Agricultura y Ganaderia. In addition, dog owners must provide a certificate of vaccination against rabies, distemper and hepatitis.
- Proof of sufficient funds to cover the costs of stay (e.g. bank statement for 2 recent months) is required. Self-employed people may need to submit proof of business registration too.
- You cannot be gainfully employed while you are in the country with this visa.
- It must be made clear whether your trip will be sponsored by the employer or the local company.
- The best time to apply for your Honduras visa is 1 - 2 months before your travel date. However, if you are running short on time, there might be a way to speed up the process at the embassy’s discretion.
