Tourist Visa from Nigeria to Guatemala
- To enter Guatemala you need a valid passport with at least six months validity remaining beyond your date of entry into the country.
- All visitors to Guatemala must carry a passport which must be valid for at least 6 months from the expected date of travel.
- If your passport is lost or stolen in Guatemala, you must obtain a new passport at the nearest embassy as soon as possible and present it together with a police report on the loss or theft to the Guatemalan Immigration Agency (Dirección de Migración) in order to obtain permission to depart Guatemala.
- There is no transit visa for Guatemala and visitors passing through the country must obtain a tourist visa if required.
- Applicants must be ready to submit proof of an accommodation arrangement for their entire stay in Guatemala.
- The Guatemala tourist visa is valid for 90 days. You are advised to exit the country before your visa expires.
- If you overstay your visa then you will be expected to pay a fine before leaving the country; this can only be paid at the Migration Directorate in Guatemala City.
- Applicants are also required to submit a proof of yellow fever vaccination.
