Student Visa from Nigeria to Greece
- This visa is issued to foreign nationals who have been accepted to study full-time in a higher education establishment in Greece.
- A letter of acceptance from the institution that the applicant has been accepted into should be provided. The letter should be printed on the institutions letterhead and must state the course the applicant will be studying.
- If the applicant of this visa is under the age of 18 years, a letter of consent signed by the person exercising parental authority is required.
- Certificate which proves that the applicant has a sufficient knowledge of the Greek language should be provided if the applicant will be studying a language course.
- Applicants of this visa are to present proof of clean criminal record.
- A medical certificate issued by a recognized medical institution in the country showing that the applicant does not suffer from a contagious disease is required.
- The Consular Authority in Greece offers a visa valid for up to 1 year and then issue a residence permit valid until the end of the applicant’s study.
- Applicants are required to provide a duly completed and signed application form when applying for a residence permit.
