Visa from Nigeria to Chad
- According to the visa policy of Chad, Nigerians hoping to visit the country do not require a visa for stays of up to 90 days.
- Visitors can also extend their stay beyond the 90-day validity by applying to the immigration department in Chad.
- Citizens of Nigeria must have a passport valid for at least six months from the date of entry into Chad. The passport must have at least two blank pages.
- Visitors are also expected to have an onward or return tickets and any other documents pertinent to their next destination.
- Nigerians visiting Chad also need to provide proof of yellow fever vaccination.
- An airport tax of XAF 5,000 and a security tax of XAF 3,000 is levied on tourist when exiting Chad. Students and Diplomatists are exempt from this tax.
- Nigerians visiting Chad with pets must be accompanied by a veterinarian good health certificate issued at point of origin and a rabies vaccination certificate is also required.
- Mandatory police registration is required for all visitors within 72 hours of arrival.
- There are no direct flights options available from Nigeria to N'Djamena, Chad, travelling from Lagos however, will require one stopover, while flights from Abuja would require two.
