Tourist Visa from Nigeria to Brazil
- The Brazilian tourist visa is issued to persons intending to visit Brazil for tourism or to see friends and family living in Brazil.
- You need to check the validity of your passport before applying for your visa. Your passport needs to be valid for at least another six months from your departure date before it can be used.
- You are allowed to spend a maximum of 180 days in Brazil over the course of a year. You will be given a 90-day visa from the start but you can apply for an extension while in Brazil.
- You can do this at the Federal Police of Brazil, but only before your visa expires.
- You are not allowed to work, go to school, or engage in business activities while on a Brazil tourist visa. You will be deported if you do so.
- The visa candidate’s bank statements from the previous 6 months with substantial amount of money in the account should be presented.
- If the applicant has reached retirement, then he or she has to provide the proof of retirement or the pension order.
- If the candidate to apply for the Brazilian passport is a student, he or she has to provide a bona fide certificate or student ID.
- The applicant also has to produce a document to the immigration department that clears him or her from Yellow Fever.
- For children below 7 years, the birth certificate along with evidence of Polio vaccination needs to be provided.
