Business Visa from Nigeria to Belize

  • Nigerians traveling to Belize for business need to secure a business visa.
  • This visa is usually issued for either single entry or multiple entry.
  • The Single Entry visa is issued for a single entry and is valid for six (6) months.
  • The Multiple Entry visa is issued for multiply use and is valid for twelve (12) months. It is also issued to persons with Special Permits residing in Belize.
  • The cost for a multiple entry visa up to a year for Nigerians is BZ $200.00
  • You will need to provide an invitation letter from the Belizean company you will be visiting. This letter will also contain their detailed address, accompanied with the date and actual purpose of your trip.
  • If you are employed, you will have to present a certificate from your employer stating or allowing your business travel.
  • A letter of financial support or your bank statement from the last 6 months is needed. Self-employed people will submit proof of business registration.
  • You cannot be gainfully employed while you are in the country with this visa.
  • It must be made clear whether your trip will be sponsored by the employer or the local company.
  • Applicants are advised to ensure their applications are accompanied by all relevant supporting documents before submission.
  • Incorrect statements may result in delay or refusal of your visa application, or if not discovered until after visa has been issued, may result in revocation.
  • Belize is the only English language-speaking country in Central America, so business travelers will not have a hard time conversing in the country.
  • For a small nation, Belize has a well-planned highway and road system that connects all mainland towns, villages and attractions.
  • This  system allows travelers to fashion a unique combination of experiences in what people call “one of the last unspoiled places on earth”.
