Business Visa from Nigeria to Belarus

  • This is the type of visa issued to Nigerians traveling to Belarus for business purposes.
  • You will need to provide an invitation letter from the Belarus company you will be visiting.
  • This letter will also contain their detailed address, accompanied with the date and actual purpose of your trip.
  • Proof of any previous business dealings with the company you are meeting up with should be provided.
  • If the intention is to attend a meeting or seminar, confirmation/invitation from the conference organizer/institution is required.
  • If you are employed, you will have to present a certificate from your employer stating or allowing your business travel.
  • Proof of sufficient funds to cover the costs of stay (e.g. bank statement for 2 recent months) is required.
  • Self-employed people may need to submit proof of business registration.
  • You cannot be gainfully employed while you are in the country with this visa.
  • It must be made clear whether your trip will be sponsored by the employer or the local company.
  • Foreign nationals arriving in Belarus via Minsk National Airport can get a visa at the airport.
  • Before arrival, a foreign national needs to submit in advance (not later than the established time frame) the documents to the Foreign Admissions Division (FAD) of the Consular Directorate of the Foreign Ministry of the Republic of Belarus, which is located at the airport:
    • for short-term visas – not later than 3 business days before the expected arrival date;
    • for long-term visas – not later than 5 business days before the expected arrival date.
  • Visa support documents may be submitted by the inviting company or person or by post taking into account the delivery time.
  • Travelers must be ready to show evidence of a medical insurance policy with at least 10,000 Euros of coverage valid throughout Belarus.
  • Such a policy may be purchased at the airport upon arrival; please see the Embassy of Belarus website for information about current fees.
  • Belarus and Russia do not have international passport control capabilities at the land border. Therefore foreigners, even those holding valid visas, may not cross the Belarusian – Russian border by car, train, or on foot.
  • Foreign citizens entering on a tourist or business visa may not stay in Belarus for more than 90 days total during any calendar year, including dates of entry and departure.
  • Your passport should be valid for at least three months beyond the period of stay if you plan on transiting a Schengen country from Belarus.
  • You will also need sufficient proof of funds and a return airline ticket.
  • Belarus does not currently have any strict HIV/AIDS entry restrictions for foreign visitors.
