How Nigerians Can Get a Visa to Algeria

About Algeria

Algeria is a country situated at the northern part of Africa on the Mediterranean coast with a Saharan desert interior, with its capital and most populous city as Algiers. The circa-1612 Ketchaoua Mosque, an Ottoman landmark can be seen along the hillside Casbah quarter, with its narrow alleys and stairways. The city’s Neo-Byzantine basilica Notre Dame d’Afrique dates to French colonial rule. It is the tenth-largest country in the world, and the largest in Africa. Algeria which is a semi-presidential republic has 48 provinces and 1,541 counties.

Requirements

Here is a list of items you would be needing if you are considering making a trip to Algeria for business purpose.

  1. Two visa application forms which should be electronically filled, completed and signed.

  2. Original passport with at least six months validity.

  3. Two recent passport sized photographs with a white background.

  4. Copy of the passport's bio-data page (page on which the photo is located)

  5. A cover letter stating the purpose of visit to Algeria and itinerary.

  6. Flight Itinerary with specific entry and exit dates and flight numbers.

  7. A proof of your civil status (marriage certificate, birth certificate of children, death certificate of spouse if applicable)

  8. Proof of sufficient financial means for the period of stay in Algeria.

  9. Original invitation letter, signed by the inviting company in Algeria on the company letter paper, providing information about the travel purpose, travel data, name, date of birth and passport number of the invitee.

  10. If employed, a company letter stating the name and position of the applicant in the company, purpose of visit, business contact, duration of stay and financial support while in Algeria is required. Note that only original document will be accepted.

  11. Proof of group travel

  12. Accommodation reservation for the duration of the intended stay in Algeria. Original accommodation documents or confirmed hotel reservations is required.

  13. Visa fees for Algerian visa.
