From April 25th, Nigerians Can Fly From Abuja to Akure With Overland Airways

Overland Airways has included a new route - 'Abuja to Akure flight' to its usual flight schedule. The Lagos-based airline very recently concluded plans apparently good news to launch scheduled flight services from Akure, the Ondo State capital, to Abuja. This is to take effect from April 25, 2016.

The flights are to be operated three times a week, specifically on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

The Lagos-based airline handles domestic services from Lagos and Ibadan. It operates two hubs, the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, and the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja. With the Murtala Mohammed Airport as is its main hub.

Overland Airways flies domestic destinations and maintains a fleet of 6 aircraft.

The goal of this new route development is to rightly cement the relationship existing between the government and people of Ondo and to accelerate economic growth development in the state and its environs.

The flights would make the state and its environs more quickly accessible for trade and investment as well as political and other engagements.
