How Nigerians Can Get A Schengen Visa in 3 Steps
Ever since Jesse Jagz said, in one of his freestyle rap songs 'it's the visa to all that you wish for, Schengen,' I have been curious about what Schengen means. As it turns out, getting a Schengen visa can open up your travel horizon to several other countries.
What is a Schengen Visa?
According to schengenvisainfo.com, "a Schengen Visa is the document issued by the appropriate authorities to the interested party for visiting/travelling to and within the Schengen Area.
The Schengen Area is comprised of 26 countries that have agreed to allow free movement of their citizens within this area as a single country. Of the 26 countries bound by the Schengen agreement, 22 are part of the EU and the other 4 are part of the EFTA."
In a nutshell it means that if you have a Schengen visa, you can travel relatively around the 26 countries that are known as 'Schengen states. I know your next question, and I am answering it right now:

To enter any of the above countries, if you are coming from a non-Schengen country, you'll need a Schengen visa. However some countries that are not in the Schengen countries list can still enter without a Schengen visa.
