Triple 'F' Bar

Located Adjacent FCMB, University-Market Rd, Nsukka.  ‘Triple F’ was somehow difficult to pronounce. The kind of thing some people will say is a tongue twister when pronounced fast. So just say ‘3 F’ instead lest some teeth fly off in the process of forcing it.

It’s one of those few places where you can get some fast food with soft drinks, eat some various preparations of rice or noodles and at the same time drink beer. It is not a rare occurrence to see places where food and beer is taken; in fact 95% of restaurants here do it. During the day, though the beer-loving population still hangs around at numerous beer-spots such as this, the main action is in the night where various beers are consumed after sometimes taking a plate of garnished noodles. This noodle is nothing compared to what we prepare at home, trust me, it has a more interesting taste to it.

So I walked in there one day, demanded a plate of rice and meat, which I satisfactorily washed down with a soft drink. Triple F was situated in the midst of residential areas, guys who hardly cook are regular visitors; and no matter how low key the joint may be, as long as it satisfies thirst and hunger, the environment neat and conducive, one can do without the flashy and lavish satisfaction well known eateries gives.

Well, customarily, I managed to rub my hand softy over my distended stomach after I had ensured the few faces around weren’t looking.
