The giant footprint of Ukhuse Oke

In Ukhuse-oke and another villager Ukhuseosi, just in between these villages is where you would find these footprints that were said to be of a giant from the ancient. The footprints of this giant are clearly embedded on the granite rocks that are found here. It is situated in Owan in Edo State and a lot of visitors would always want to come here to see this magnificent relic.

Surame Cultural Landscape

The Hidi who is the village chief of Surame has his palace at the Surame Cultural Landscape. You would be filled with admiration for the natives here. The walls were constructed with stones that are huge. It is another UNESCO World Heritage Site that Nigerians are proud of. It is located in Sokoto. Now, you can see that the location of this place and the things you are going to see is not for the fainthearted.

Abraka-Gordon River Resort, Abraka

A perfect spot for your picnic is the Abraka-Gordon River Resort, Abraka. It is located in Abraka, Delta State and far away from the activities of the city. You can take a boat ride, swim and fish at the resort. Hiking is allowed and there is the sand beach for you to walk around and then the Ethiope River that flows slowly and rhythmically. Kids love here and would always want to spend time.

Orole Hills, Ikere Ekiti

These hills stand like an egg which is what makes them unique. It is standing erect and seen buried its other end in the soil. This is where you can do a lot of activities such as picnicking, sightseeing and mountaineering. It is the highest hill that you can see around here and has become a place where people come to worship the goddess of prosperity in the city.

Mbari Cultural Centres

Mbari Cultural Centres is an open air museum at Eke-Nguru in Aboh Mbaise ,Imo State where you are going to see many artifacts that depict local deities in Mbari, Imo State. These gods include the Ogwugwu (forest god) and the Amadioha (Thunder god). Each of these deities has their messengers such as owl, monkeys, snakes, rams and tortoise. If you want to fully understand the Igbo aesthetic, this is where you should be.
