Ogbunike Cave is one of  the wonders of nature with the way it is segmented into different sections. It is close to the Onitsha Market town in Anambra State. When you come here, there are so many stories you can hear from the native tour guides. The cave is regarded to be a religious site, and some people still come for their traditional rites.

Yola Municipality

Adamawa State is the land of beauty surrounded with great landscape and beautiful monuments.  The capital, Yola is where we would want you to visit because of its undulating topography. It has a hill chain called the ‘Three Sister Hills’ because they are seen standing side by side on the same height. Besides this hill, there is Lake Njuwa where there is a yearly fishing festival that occurs from March to May.

The Long Juju Shrine of Arochukwu

The slave trade history in Nigeria cannot be complete without mentioning Arochukwu in Abia State where the Long Juju Shrine is still standing. This cave is where the oracle was believed to reside when slaves were taken through that route.  There are different types of this kind of attraction in the world, but this place is different because it also served as a religious site.

Ibeno Beach

Ibeno Beach

Ibeno Beach is in Akwa Ibom State, a beach that has become a paradise for those who love the water. This is a long stretch of water can be seen all the way to the Atlantic. There’s also room for lots of activities there, like picnicking and strolling.

Yankari National Park

Yankari

Yankari National Park is a wildlife park in Bauchi that is considered one of the most developed in the country. You can find different types of animals here. If you want to watch them in their huge numbers, come around November and May. This is when these animals converge around the river called the Gaji River.

These stunning places are some of the places that you can visit when you are in Nigeria. For those thinking of where to go, these five places can be your top picks to spend your time on vacation.
