No two streets look alike in Lagos, no matter where you are heading to; Ajegunle, Victoria Island, Apapa, Isolo or Ogba, just name any part of Lagos that has the same type of street feature. There are so many streets that you do not need to know their names because you got a lot on your head to remember. But there are some streets in Lagos that you must know their names because they are popular and have become landmarks in Lagos.

Bode Thomas Street

The Bode Thomas Street has become a famous street that was named after a Nigeria Statesman and Politician, Chief Bode Thomas. The street is in Surelere and very easy to find because everyone seems to know where it is located. It is one of the few streets in Lagos that you can find on your own with little assistance.

Broad Street

One of the oldest streets you can see in Lagos is Broad Street, a street that is bold, famous and beautiful with its skyline and several corporations having their homes here. There are so many things that happen here and it is a place where billions are made daily. The island is close and the panoramic view of Lagos is clear here.

Allen Avenue

Who doesn’t know Allen Avenue? It is that long and famous street in Ikeja that has both urban and refined accommodation, shopping malls and offices for the wealthy. You can move from the street to different parts of Ikeja like Adeniyi Jones and Opebi. It is a hub for commercial and social activities .

Ademola Adetokunbo Street

The former Chief Justice of Supreme Court of Nigeria, Sir Adetokunbo Adegboyega Ademola was named after this popular street. He was the son of King Ladapo Ademola II, the Alake of the Egba land. Ozumba Mbadiwe Avenue

Ozumba Mbadiwe Avenue is one street that you cannot miss, it is beautiful on the Island with its many beautiful architectural buildings especially the “4000 Flats” and many other famous buildings that you may want to see in Lagos.
