*Moving Rock *

Think about a moving rock in Nigeria. What does this imagination bring to you? The Moving Rock that is located Akinkiya in Ngaski is a must visit tourist destination in Kebbi State. A lot of tourists who come to the state always have a fun blast when they come here.

*Alwasa Battlefield *

Argungu is where the Alwasa Battlefield is situated. It was here that deadly fights were fought between the Kabawa warriors who are from Gobir, Kebbi and Tuaregs tribe and the Fulani Jihadist in 1807. This was quite a long time but the experience cannot be forgotten when you come to this place.

Yelwa Museum of Archaeology

The Yelwa Museum of Archaeology has become a home of arts and crafts in the state. These works depict the way the people live and they in the past and present. This is where you would easily identify with the people of Kebbi.

Kanta Museum

Argungu seems to be a very bust town in Kebbi State. The Kanta Museum is situated in ‘old town’ that is close to the main market. The museum was established in 1831 and used as an Emire’s Palace iuntil 1942 before it was made a museum in the year, 1958. The edifice is charming and depicts the ancient city structure.

Zuru Museum

The Zuru Museum is located in a placed called Zuru. You would see a lot of artifacts and relics in this museum. There are guides who would help you understand what some paintings and art works represent. The beautiful of the people’s culture can be seen boldly in this place.
