Ushogbo Hills

In Benue State, in the land of Ushogbo lies a group of hills that make for a  pleasant vacation spot. Those who love picnicking would find this place as a paradise.  The Bassa Hills is where you are going to find some amazing views, the Ikyogen Hills leave you enchanted with its green vegetation and has been dubbed Ikyogen Cattle Ranch. There’s also the Swern Hills to behold too – the Tiv people are rumoured to have originated from here. You are sure to have an amazing time here.

Oguta Lake Holiday Complex

Oguta Lake is the second largest natural lake that you can find in Nigeria after Lake Chad. It is a lovely spot to explore and there is a Holiday Complex built around it. There is a gold course that is world standard, a mini recreation park for the kids, boat cruising services, a mini bunker from the civil war and a Golf Club Bar House only for your enjoyment. There is a natural confluence where you would see Urashi River meet the Oguta Lake.

Mbari Cultural Centre

The Mbari Cultural Center is an awe-inspiring set up where you are sure to find artifacts and sculptures. This place is home to the famous monument of ‘Ala’ the goddess of the earth. There is a symbolic representation of Amadioha and other gods to be found here as well. There are messengers of the deities that are seen here, which include tortoises, owls, snakes and monkeys. You will find this place at Ikenegbu layout in Owerri and there is another one in Aboh Mbaise, both in Imo State.

Agbokim Waterfalls

The Agbokim Waterfall is close to the Nigeria-Cameroon border and close to the calm Ikom town. The scenery is sure to leave you spell bound as you take it all in when you visit.
