Bower Memorial Tower

It is in Oke Are that the Bower Memorial Tower . This is a historic monument that has been erected to honour the first British Resident in Ibadan, Captain Robert Lister Bower in 1936. He was the one in charge of the city between 1893 and 1897. Taffy Jones the person who designed the Mapo Hall was the one who equally did this amazing work of architecture.

University of Ibadan Zoological Garden

This Zoological Garden is inside the Department of Zoology of the University of Ibadan, It a zoo that ranks among the best in Nigeria, even though it cannot really be compared to the wildlife parks in Jos, Bauchi, Obudu and others – but it remains the best zoo within an academic institution in Nigeria. This is one of the best zoos in the country.

Old Oyo National Park

Everyone would love to visit the Old Oyo National Park that is about 2,500 square kilometers in size. It is where you would hills and wildlife activities.
