Kogi: Is Audu Abubakar Dead? [Video]

KOGI STATE, NIGERIA- Following the reports that Audu Abubakar, gubernatorial candidate in the Kogi polls, died after the results of the election were announced, there have been mixed reports following, some confirming his death, and an almost equal number denying it.

The Cable newspaper has stated, with conviction, that the man died of stroke – and that he had suffered two episodes of the deadly stroke before finally succumbing to this one.

The paper narrates: “Audu, who was said to have complained of stomach cramp before going to bed last night, suffered a stroke around 9am on Sunday.”
