You know how they say “If the mountain will not come to Muhammad then Muhammad must go to the mountain”? I think Izanagi takes heed of this popular saying, how? Well, even if you will not go to Japan for neither breakfast, lunch nor dinner but you still crave these meals, Izanagi will bring Japanese dining to you! Great, right?.

Izanagi serves the best Japanese dishes you would not regret having. Warmly and stylishly decorated with more than a little taste of it’s Japanese heritage(even the name, Izanagi refers to a deity in Japanese mythology).

The interior of this restaurant is very welcoming. The seating arrangement of the restaurant is also of the Japaenese style. They also have a room where diners are seated on the floor.

The restaurant as a whole captures the essence of the Japanese culture.

Izanagi offers a menu that is not just contemporary but also enticing and uniquely creative, extensive too.

With a large variety of excellently made meals ranging from noodle dishes, shrimp dumplings, several types of salad to marinated steak dishes, teppanyaki and ofcourse sushi, the very best kind of sushi is made at Izanagi; so many choices are made available so that a meal at this restaurant will leave you very much satisfied.

The management and staff take personal interest in each and every one of the customers, this can be seen in the way the manager moves around the restaurant during meals, paying rapt attention to the service of the customers in a warm, cheerful and professional manner. The waiters are equally as cheerful and professional, providing fast and efficient services.

The bartender provides a selection of great exotic drinks, try out new cocktails such as their Grey Goose Orange Vodka(that is, if you haven’t already had it), the bar provides you with so many cocktail choices, you’ll definitely be trying out new stuff too. They also have signature drinks which are just as awesome.

Izanagi is located at 19b, Idejo Street(off Adeola Odeku street), Victoria Island, Lagos state. The restaurant is usually open on Mondays through Sundays from 3pm till 9pm.

The environment is a beautiful and friendly one, just like the people waiting to take your order in the restaurant. A visit to Izanagi promises to have your mouth watering at the sight of your meal, then leave your tummy filled and satisfied and also have you telling all your friends about this wonderful eating experience.
