How many important museums in Nigeria have you visited? There are different types of museums with different significances and functions around the country. Some of these museums are designed to make you experience the past. Visiting some, you wouldn’t want to leave, while some will have you are itching to run out. The Benin City National Museum
The Benin City National Museum has artifacts related to the ancient Benin Empire with its bronze figures, terracotta and pieces of cast iron. It is located around King’s Square in Benin. This is an important museum in Nigeria
Gidan Makama Museum

The National War Museum, Umuahia

Former Colonial governor of the country, Lord Lugard once lived here. It was here the cease fire that ended the Civil war was declared.
