How Nigerians Can Get a Visa to Mexico

Mexico is officially known as the United Mexican States. It is a country in North America covering almost two million square kilometres, with an estimated population of over 120 million. Mexico is the most populous Spanish-speaking country in the world.
The country is known for its beaches, mountains, deserts, jungles and ancient ruins. Its capital is Mexico City.

Requirements

These are the requirements for an entry visa into Mexico.

  1. Personally submit the visa application (attached) with the required information. Biometric data (photograph and fingerprints) is required. You can not send documents via traditional mail or a third person;

  2. Present a valid passport;

  3. Present a passport size color photograph, front, without glasses and white background;

  4. Original and copies of documents showing that employment has monthly pension income of higher charges $ 500.00 USD for the last three months and evidence of stable employment with minimum of one year, or;

  5. Original and copy of proof of investment or bank accounts on behalf of the applicant with monthly average balance equivalent to $ 1, 500.00, during the last three months, or;

  6. Original and copy of the deed of property duly registered in the name of the applicant for a minimum period of two years and evidence of stable employment with minimum of two years;

  7. Appear for a consular interview;

  8. Pay in Nigerian Naira equivalent to $ 36.00 directly to the account of the Embassy;

  9. Minor's application must be submitted with both parents, guardians or custodians, or submit a notarized authorization to travel to Mexico issued by them (also applies to minors traveling alone). In the case of single parents, widowed or divorced must submit documentation.

  10. The person who is invited to Mexico by a public or private institution must submit the original of a responsive letter from the organization to invite foreign person to participate in an event or activity in national territory. The letter should contain the following information:

    1. Applicant's full name and nationality;
    2. Corporate name of the organization;
    3. Official registration number, as appropriate;
    4. Purpose of the organization or public or private institution;
    5. Complete address and contact details of the organization or institution;
    6. Information about the activity performed or the project that involved foreign person. The activity of the foreign person must be related to the purposes of the organization or institution that invites;
    7. Duration or approximate date of completion of the activity carried out;
    8. The commitment to take over the maintenance of the foreign person during his stay in Mexico and their return to their country of origin or residence. In effect demonstrate that they have resources to fulfill this obligation, organization or private institution that extends the invitation should present original and copy of proof of investment or bank accounts with monthly average balance $ 5,000.00 USD equivalent over the last twelve months.
    9. Copy of official identification with signature and photograph of the person who sends the letter.
    10. The documents that accredits foreign person who has the experience, ability, skills or knowledge necessary to develop the activity for which he is invited, in original and copy.

Usually, if the above requirements are completed and no impediment of force majeure arises, particularly the availability of internet service, the visa is issued the same day it is requested.
