How Nigerians Can Get a Visa to Ireland

Ireland, also known as the Republic of Ireland, is a sovereign state in north-western Europe occupying about five-sixths of the island of Ireland. The capital and largest city is Dublin, which is located on the eastern part of the island, and whose metropolitan area is home to around a third of the country's 4.75 million inhabitants.
This post will describe how Nigerians can get a visa to Ireland.
Types Of Irish Visa
Visas to Ireland are classified in two ways. Duration of stay and Number of entry.
For duration of stay
A Short Stay (C) Visa which is issued for a stay of 90 days or less for the purpose of Tourism, Visit family/friend, Business, Conference, Transit, and some visas which will come under the category of ‘Other’.
A Long Stay (D) Visa will not be issued for any of the above reasons, but may be given for the purpose of Employment, Study, or Joining Spouse/Partner/Parent, and certain other categories.
For number of entry
A Single Journey visa will allow you to seek entry to Ireland on one occasion only within the dates shown on the visa.
A Multiple Journey visa will allow you seek entry to Ireland on a number of occasions within the dates shown on the visa.
Where To Go
The VFS offices in Abuja and Lagos are open from 8am to 3pm Monday to Friday.
Applicants in Abuja can submit their applications to the Ireland Visa Application Centre, 38 Lobito Crescent, Wuse II, Abuja.
Applicants in Lagos should submit their applications to the Ireland Visa Application Centre, Manor Hall, Plot 110, Admiral Ayinla Way (opposite the Treasure Garden Estate, 3rd Roundabout, Lekki-Epe Expressway), Lekki Phase I, Lagos.
Requirements
You will need to:
Complete the online application form (questionnaire) - print it off, sign it and keep note of your 8-digit visa reference.
Gather your supporting documentation and submit these, along with your passport, photographs, fees and signed online application summary to the Visa Facilitation Services (VFS) offices in Abuja or Lagos.
You are also required to submit a recent passport sized photograph with your application.
