How Nigerians Can Get a Visa to Colombia

The Republic of Colombia is largely situated in the northwest of South America, with territories in Central America.
Colombian territory includes Amazon rainforest, tropical grassland and both Caribbean and Pacific coastlines. Ecologically, Colombia is considered one of the world's 17 megadiverse countries, and of these, the most biodiverse per square kilometer. Its capital is Bogota.

Requirements

Here, you will find the requirements of the Business visa NE 1 class.

  1. Copy of the first page of your current passport where your personal data is displayed;

  2. Copy of the page of your passport where the last stamp of entry or departure of Colombia is located;

  3. If you've had a Colombian visa but it was issued without the OCR (lecture code), please attach a copy of your last Colombian visa;

  4. If your visa process will be finished by a third person, an official power of attorney must be presented;

  5. Official communication of the legal representative of the company of public, private or mixed entity, legally established in Colombia that sponsors your visit. The letter must contain a description of the activities you will be carrying out in Colombia, the economic sector in which they will develop and the investment plans for these activities. Also it must contain an explicit phrase in which the company takes responsibility of your stay in the country. Please attach documents that contain: legal identity, social object, legal representatives, capital or stock composition, functions of the legal representative; or

  6. Official communication of the legal representative of the commercial, industrial or service company legally established in Colombia that sponsors your visit. The letter must contain a description of the activities you will be carrying out in Colombia, the economic sector in which they will develop and the investment plans for these activities. Also it must contain an explicit phrase in which the company takes responsibility of your stay in the country. You must accompany this letter with the certificate of constitution and legal representation or similar document, according to country of origin; or

  7. Invitation/presentation letter regarding the applicant for a Business Visa written by a Chamber of Commerce or official commercial or foreign investment promotion office from your country of origin/residence. This letter must clearly state the activities that the applicant will be carrying out in Colombia.

  8. Remember, you must present a valid current Passport with an expiration date of more than 180 days and 2 blank pages.
