Requirements

If you need a Business visitor visa, you must send the following documents with your application:

  1. A letter of invitation from your potential business partner in Canada;

  2. 24-hour contact details for your potential business partner;

  3. You may also need identification cards or proof that you have a job;

As a business visitor, you must also show that:

  1. You plan to stay for less than six months;

  2. You do not plan to enter the Canadian workforce;

  3. Your main place of business, and source of income and profits, is outside Canada;

  4. You have documents that support your application;

  5. You meet Canada’s basic entry requirements;

  6. You have a valid travel document, such as a passport;

  7. You have enough money for your stay and to return home;

  8. Plan to leave Canada at the end of your visit;

  9. You are not a criminal, and do not pose security or health risk to Canadians;
