Belize is a country in the eastern edge of Central America. It is the only country in Central America whose official language is English, though its inhabitants still speak Belizean Creole and Spanish. Its covers a total area of 22,800 square kilometres, and is the country with the least population density in Central America, even though it now has one of the highest growth rates in the area.
Belize is known for its beaches, eco-lodges, scuba diving and sportfishing with Mayan ruins in its jungles. Its capital is Belmopan.

Requirements

These are the requirements for a Belizean business visa.

  1. Visitors must travel to Belize on a valid passport (n on-expired). The passport must be valid for no less than SIX months after the intended period of stay in Belize;

  2. The application form must be completed in its entirety, signed by the applicant and returned directly to "The Consulate of Belize in Nigeria, Abuja" via courier service;

  3. A Copy of data page of passport;

  4. One recent passport-sized photograph;

  5. Proof of Travel Arrangements;

  6. Travel Itinerary;

  7. Copies of Hotel Reservations or Full contact details of family/friends in Belize;

  8. Evidence of financial capability i.e Copies of most recent bank statement or Letter from Financial Officer;

  9. Letter of Introduction from Company or Organisation and supporting documents;

  10. Visa Fee is $60 or NGN10800.00 (valid for 3 months from the date of issue);

  11. Copies of notarized documents;

  12. A pre-paid return addressed envelope via a courier service;

  13. If the applicant is resident in Nigeria a legible photocopy of the applicant's resident permit or the applicant's passport with valid re-entry Visa to Nigeria.
