How Nigerians Can Get a Visa to Australia

Australia, also known officially as the Commonwealth of Australia, is a country comprising the mainland of the Australian continent, the island of Tasmania, and numerous smaller islands. It is the world's sixth-largest country by total area with a landmass of 7,617,930 square kilometres on the Indo-Australian Plate. It has a population of 24 million that is highly urbanised and heavily concentrated in the eastern states and on the coast.

Where To Go
The Australian Government does not provide visa services at the Australian High Commission in Abuja. Visa application centres are managed by Teleperformance Ltd since the 30th October 2014.

Requirements
Before you decide to apply for a visa please make sure you familiarize yourself with the information on the type of Visa you are applying for. Also note that all visa applications to Australia from Nigeria are processed through the Australian High Commission in Pretoria, South Africa.
To make a valid application you must:
Applicants should fill the Visa Application Form corresponding to the visa subclass under which they wish to lodge their application.
Indicate the class of visa that you want;
Use the correct form;
Lodge an application via the internet (where applicable);
Provide your residential address;
Pay the required charge (where applicable);
Satisfy any other requirements (for example, you may have to be outside Australia to apply for the visa);
Send or deliver your application as instructed by the specific visa application form, or contact the general enquiries line for assistance;
Complete the application in English;
Answer all questions truthfully – if you provide incorrect information or documents, your visa may not be granted; and
Provide originals or certified copies of any required
documents unless the department advises otherwise.
