General Hassan Usman Park

General Hassan Usman Park a relaxation centre and every tourist delight in Kaduna. The entrance point to the park is about 273 meters from Kofar Gamji. The park occupies an area of about 7000 sq. meters.

The beauty of the park is the river Kaduna which flows majestically behind it, the numerous flowers including orchards, architectural sculptures and  lots of trees around the park. The facilities found within the park include a multi-purpose theatre containing a permanent exhibition ground, art studio and gallery, an amusement park, a mini zoological garden of marooned ostriches, a crocodile pond and ancient tortoise.

The park also has an enclosed Olympic-sized swimming pool and an arena used for training of officers of the Nigerian Defence Academy. The beautiful landscaped lawns are used for social activities such as weddings and night parties.
