Full Update: Ibinabo Fiberesima's Breast Surgery And Court Case

Nigerian celebrity and former beauty-queen turned Nollywood actress, Ibinabo Fiberesima has been denied bail in her court case. According to reports, the three-man panel (presided over by Justice Ndukwe-Anywanwu) refused her bail because she failed to provide the copies of the judgement that the Court of Appeal delivered on the 11th of March, 2016.

Ndukwe says that her options have narrowed to either:
a. Reject the appeal or
b. Adjourn to another date. Ibinabo's lawyer selected the second option because it will give them time to submit a better application.

The case is now scheduled for April 7th, 2016 (for the hearing of her bail application).

Ibinabo, who is the president of the Actor's Guild of Nigeria had earlier told the Supreme Court that it passed its judgement in error since it honored the High Court's Judgment. According to her, this is an 'interference by the High Court with the exercise of discretion by the Magistrate's Court.'

Resports explains that Ibinabo's recent breast surgery is taking a toll on her and she needs constant monitoring for the duration of the trial and beyond.

This is being served in an argument for her to be granted bail.

Meanwhile Emeka Ike has said he has nothing to do with Ibinabo's court case.
