Ebomi Lake

The word Ebomi is an adulteration of a Yoruba word abami which literarily means mysterious. The Ebomi Lake is located at Ipesi in Akoko South East Local Government area in the northern part of Ondo State. Legend has it that Ebomi lake is bottomless. Aside that, the lake is said to possess mysterious powers. It can offer gifts like fowls and other things to people, according to indigenes of Ipesi-Akoko.
