Forget the swallowing of food, eating is a social event. It is far more than being hungry or needing extra glucose – doctors like to say that – it is about socializing with other people. So when you go out to eat, you want to get that feeling of association, experience something else, be something else even (to the legal limit, I think).course. It is a lounge and restaurant which offers really good meals, in a really chill environment.

Cafe 24, located on Adetokunbo Ademola Crescent, in Wuse II, Abuja, offers this, and more of course. It is a lounge and restaurant which offers really good meals, in a really chill environment (Chill, excuse my lingo, is another word for cool, nice ambient, adequate, correct); it is a cafe after all. The meal come at really affordable prices too – affordable is relative, remember you are in Abuja – and because of this it attracts a lot of people who come there to eat also.

This place is also famous for its sharwarma, so do yourself a favour and get one when you stop by. And if you’re in the habit of not taking cash when you go out, you can use your debit cards and e-payment solutions at Cafe 24, they accept American Express cards – among other international cards – too.

On Thursday nights, the restaurant organizes Karaoke nights, so people can have fun and unwind, and prepare for the weekend too. This is probably the best time to go in, as asides from you showing off your beautiful – I hope it is – voice to the community, you get to hear other not-so-beautiful voices too, helping to liven up your evening.

There is no shortage of good places to hang out in Abuja, or even in Wuse, but this is one you should experience. With good customer service and parking, what else are you looking for?
