Brace Yourself: This Is What Air Travel Will Look Like in 100 Years

If you think the way people have to fly is inefficient, we agree. There is room for improvement - a very wide, echoing room.
This is why we found TravelAndLeisure's article about the Future of Air Travel quite interesting.
Here are x things that they believe will change about air transportation in the next century:
Airport Trips Will Be Uncannily Close to the Jetson Experience
If you'll believe the guys who wrote this, a flying vehicle will pick you up from your doorsteps and fly you to your destination, easy. This solves the traffic problem we're experiencing in Lagos, I guess.
You'll be able to book flights with your brain, like some high-flying alien mutant robot
The way they see it is: there will be so many breakthroughs in mobile technology - which is now blossoming into wearable technology - that we are bound to have something implanted in our brains in the near future that lets us book flights- and perhaps hotels - by simply thinking about it.
I can almost hear the Christians clutching their bibles feverishly.
Airport Strip-search will end (hooray, the pant-bombers are foiled!)
In 100 years, a Tillotson says, everything will be connected to an internet of internets, including our bodies. It'll be easy then to use smart sensors to tell who's carrying a weapon onto the plane without having to perform a body cavity search.
Lagos to London Will Take Six Hours Less Than It Takes Now
Hooray for faster planes!
Uhm...Planes Will Be Transparent...?
This will make it easier for the cyborg airplane maintenance crew to figure out what's wrong with the plane and to tell when you've sh*t your pants.
