African Fashion Week, Lagos

AFWN will hold at the Intercontinental Hotel, Lagos, on May 17 and May 18. AFWN believes in emerging talents. The core aim of this event is providing visibility platforms for new talent, who would otherwise not have the means to gather national attention and awareness of their own.

Billed to attend the fashion event are Hon. Abike Dabiri Erewa, who will be the patron of the event, with Senator Daisy Danjuma and Molade Okoya serving as grand patrons and businesswoman, Folorunsho Alakija, as the special guest.

Our platforms allow people to see what African Fashion is all about, and then they can contribute to its growth, as we believe that for creativity to grow there needs to be a platform that support and contribute to its growth.
At AFWN we also get the support of established Africa designers and we pay homage to the African designers who have continuously and tirelessly worked to the growth of Africa Fashion.
