A few years ago, Abuja was not as beautiful as it is today. The sudden makeover the city got made it trump many major cities in the country. It is well designed and planned to charm any visitor with its numerous attractive sites.  It is home to green parks and the Millennium Park – the largest in the country. There are also lots of hotels in the central commercial district. Don’t worry about luxury when you come here, because it’s got pomp and affluence boldly painted all over it.

Abuja is quiet, and this is the reason a lot of people come here to reside instead of the ever busy Lagos.

The  Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation’s headquarters dubbed the NNPC Towers is a gigantic structure located in central Abuja. There are other tourist sites close to it you’d love to visit as well. Do not forget Millennium Park; a place where thousands of visitors head to with friends when they are in Abuja.

You can’t leave out the* Arts & Craft Village Abuja* on your trip to this city. Located close to Sheraton Hotels, you can see how artists transform their talents to beauty. You’ll get lost in awe at the numerous things on display. You can actually get souvenirs to take home with you.

Have you visited the Jabi Lake? This is a natural lake that attracts a lot of visitors. You can also visit Abuja Zoological Park and Wonderland theme park.
