Oxbow Lake
In the capital of Bayelsa State, Yenegoa is the Oxford Lake. This is the waterfront where you would catch a glimpse of the coastal view of this city. Isaac Jasper Adaka Boro Monument
Isaac Jasper Boro was a prominent man who rose to become a hero for the South-South people. There is a park for him in Port Harcourt but his monument is seen in his hometown, Kaiama in Bayelsa State. He was a campaigner for environment responsibility and social justice. He was the man who took with him 160 men to fight the federal government in 1966.

This park is strategically located in the centre of the city. The government house is close by and you are not going to miss the excitement of the city. Akassa Slave Transit Camp and Tunnel is located in Ogbokiri. It was once used as a slave camp, where slaves meet before they were taken to Caribbean and America. The camp is made of bricks and solid iron and restraining chains are everywhere that was used on the slaves.
