• A passport valid for at least 6 months from the intended arrival date and must have 2 blank pages for visa stamp.
• Duly completed and signed visa application form.
• If the applicant is a minor, the parents/legal guardians have to sign the form.
• Two passport-sized photographs (35 mm x 45 mm) taken on grey background.
• Travel documents.
• Proof of financial support.
• Proof of accommodation.
• Copy of return flight ticket.

• Travel medical insurance of 30,000 euros to cover the entire duration of stay.

All Schengen visas allow travelers to stay in the country for 90 days out of 180 days. However, if you want to stay longer than 90 days, you are required to apply for a residence visa.

Do I need a residence permit to study in Netherlands?

To stay in the country for a longer duration (more than 90 days), you will need a Residence Permit. The MVV is proof of your eligibility as a resident in The Netherlands. When you enter the Netherlands under this permit, you are seen to do so as a potential resident rather than a tourist.

What do I need to study in The Netherlands?

Given that your degree is recognized in the Netherlands, you may need a residence permit if you are not an EU / EEA or Swiss citizen, sufficient mastery of English: TOEFL (minimum 550 paper based, 213 computer based), IELTS (minimum average of 6) GMAT or GRE or a minimum average of 7 - 7.5 (foreign diploma).
