About Crawford University
Crawford University is a private University owned by the Apostolic Faith Mission. It was established in 2005 by Paul Akazue, the then leader and third overseer of the Apostolic Faith Mission across Africa, and also the first installed chancellor of the institution until his death in May 2010. The University was renamed after the founder of the mission Rev. (Mrs) Florence Louise Crawford. Following its establishment by the mission, the University is aimed at producing graduates with moral excellence, self-confidence, inventive dynamism, and creativity. The University practises a Collegiate system of education, with just two Colleges, and a Postgraduate School.

Crawford University Admission Requirements
The University has provision for, foundation, undergraduate, part-time and postgraduate programmes in the colleges listed above. Admission requirements across these levels differ considerably. Here are some of them.
Admission Requirements For Diploma (JUPEB)
Applicants seeking admission into the foundation programme at the University are expected to have a minimum of five (5) credit level passes in SSCE/GCE O’level at no more than two sittings, may be admitted into 200 level after successful completion of the programme.
Admission Requirements For Undergraduates
100 level students:
Applicants must possess a minimum of five (5) credit passes in SSCE/GCE O’LEVEL/NECO/NABTEB or equivalents at no more than two (2) sittings obtained in subjects relevant to the proposed field of study. The 5 credits must compulsorily be in Mathematics, English and 3 other related subjects.
Candidates must also, register, sit for, and attain the prescribed cut-off in UTME.
200 level students (Direct- entry):
In addition to having the above requirements, you may also be required to;
Have a minimum of two (2) A level passes in subjects related to the proposed field of study. Other requirements may be found in the JAMB brochure.
Holders of a bachelor’s degree in a related course can still apply.
Admission Requirements For Postgraduates
Crawford University has provision for postgraduate programmes, specifically, Masters and Postgraduate diploma degree. As a prospective candidate seeking admission in any of these levels, here are some of the requirements.
A minimum of five (5) O’level passes in English, Mathematics and any other three.
A bachelor’s degree from the University, or one recognized by the school with a minimum of a second class lower division for masters, and third class division for the postgraduate diploma.
