Newsworthy Happenings On May 29, 2017, the management of the school stopped academic activities for Undergraduate Students due to a protest by the student union over the failure of issuing of identity cards to students, and an outlaw of electrical appliances in the University. On June 9th it was announced that the school will be reopened on the 20th, but school activities didn't start until the 2nd of July. About University of Lagos The University of Lagos fondly called Unilag was established on 22nd of October, 1962. The University started off with its first set of 200 students in three (3) faculties; Faculty of Arts, Science and Education on a portion of the temporary campus of the Kwara state polytechnic which was the only campus of the University until January 1982 when it moved to a permanent and conducive site due to the influx of more students to the institution. Covenant University Admission Requirements Admission Requirements For Undergraduates: Applicants must obtain a minimum entry level requirement of 5 Credit level pass in 5 subjects from either SSCE/GCE/O’Level/NECO/NABTEB or its equivalent at not more than two sittings.
