About Babcock University Babcock University popularly called BU was named after David C. Babcock, an American missionary who pioneered the works of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Nigeria. Admission Requirements For Diploma (JUPEB) Applicants seeking admission into the foundation programme at the University are expected to have a minimum of five (5) credit level passes in SSCE/GCE O’level at no more than two sittings, may be admitted into 200 level after successful completion of the programme. Admission Requirements For Undergraduates 100 level students: Applicants must possess a minimum of five (5) credit passes in SSCE/GCE O’LEVEL/NECO/NABTEB or equivalents at no more than two (2) sittings obtained in subjects relevant to the proposed field of study. The 5 credits must compulsorily be in Mathematics, English and 3 other related subjects.
