DECEMBER 7, 2015 - It has been an eventful year for us, and delightfully so. Since 2013 when we first made the promise to our faithful users that we would continue to deliver excellent, reliable and affordable hotel reservation services, we have continued to renew our brand promise, and our customers have responded by spreading the love. Hotels.ng has grown from the small outfit in Calabar it used to be to a dedicated, strong and talented team in Yaba committed to giving the best user experience in Nigeria, and in Africa as a whole. This year, we raised startup capital to expand our reach and hone our service offering, and this funding has already started going into our Pan-African expansion - we have set up shop in [Ghana] and [Sierra Leone] already. We have upgraded our customer support service, systematically reduced room rates and partnered with hotels to provide better packages to our customers. All in all, it has been a splendid year. We have decided that there is no better way to end such a fantastic year than by giving back to the people, and we are inviting you to join us as we do this! Starting from the 1st of December, we will be earmarking 10% of all hotel commissions we receive and investing it in the people. The beautiful people of Nigeria: the destitute - the downtrodden, the hungry and the homeless. For every room you book in December, we will send 10% of it to people who need it. We will send everyone email updates (with photos, news and progress reports) as we touch lives around Nigeria. But we cannot do this without you.
