Hi,I don’t know if this is funny enough.

I was to travel on Friday to Kogi state for a friend’s wedding, he gave me a detailed address on where to stop and since his traditional wedding was on friday he will be busy, so we rode off stopping at Lokoja i told the driver were to stop me and to my surprise and confusion he said he has never heard of such a place i felt like peeing on my pants cos my friend’s number wasn’t going through i had to ask for help from the passengers if any one knew Ija-ikeje in Kogi state a good samaritan offered to alert the driver once we got to the place two hours later, he halted the driver and i came down i was so grateful that with smiles i walked down to a mallam asking him for Okpo slab high school and he looked at me like i was lost, then i knew i was kinda lost, he pointed to another mallam sitting at the mosque washing his feet am like “meet that guy?”

I go to him he tells me Ikeje is very far from Ejule were i was stopped he asks me to sit on the mosque pavement so he could stop a car for me. am so scared! is not the rather the guarantee of standing up with my head intact.

After 25 minutes, a car comes i quickly say thank you and i dash off! getting to ikeje i am welcomed fine, in the evening i and my friends are gulping down kegs of palm wine! my phone rings that i am needed home on saturday to prepare for a function that i need to sing in. and the request is from my mum who just lost her husband my father, we the kids are trying to please her so i can’t saw no. the wedding is for the next day am his bestman so i can’t leave the wedding ends by 4 and Abuja is like 7 hours from Iga-Ikeje! i tell my friend “am going now!”, he is like “Prosper please its late”, am like “don’t bother”, 5pm i am still waiting for a ride i haven’t seen any minutes later an AMBULANCE rides towards us shouting “Abuja!” am left without options so i rode back to Abuja at the back of the ambulance so i prepared for my event! so in all it was fine
