Bida Town

Bida town is fast growing cosmopolitan city in Niger State. Popular Brass works are found at Gbongbofu, Tswatako and Tswata Mukun area of Bida town in Niger State. Bida is known world wide for its beautiful crafts. The process is almost same as blacksmithing, except that the raw material is placed in a special basing which is also put over fire made by the blowing of bellows. The brass which is the raw material, melts after being heated for some minutes.
Bida is famous for quality woven cloths, mats, embroidery, beads and more importantly the Tsuata-muku brass works. This place is indeed is a tourist delight.
