This is a 40,000 all seater multi-use stadium that doubles as the homeground for Kogi United and Niger Tornadoes. Built in 1998, it was upgraded to FIFA standards in 2008 to host major tournaments, considering its proximity to the nation's capital.

Some of the major features of this stadium are the newly upgraded artificial lush grass, the computerized score board and the modern floodlight for night viewings. It is a regular host to the Nigerian Premier League matches and many socio-political events has taken place here.
