Federal Government College, Odi was established in May 26, 2006, Built by in May 26, 2006.
The College took-off on May 26, 2006, with a student enrolment of 23(18boys and 5 girls).
The pioneer staff were Mr D.O Ogounga as the principal and Mr M.D Bassey as Burser.
Today, FGC, Odi boasts of a staff population of 37 permanent members of staff, 35 non-teaching staff and 17 NYSC members. The student enrolment stands at 790. It is hoped that with improvement in infrastructure, the population will grow and the school will move to greater heights both academically and in every wise.
