Federal Government Girls' College Bwari, Abuja, one of the 104 Unity Colleges in Nigeria was established in 1984 as a girls only full boarding school, The college is located in Bwari Area Council Abuja FCT which is also home to the Nigerian Law School and the National Headquarters of Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
The college came into being on 15th January 1984 to meet the demand for the girl child education in FCT, the middle belt and the country at large.
The College is situated in Bwari town, opposite F.C.D.A Staff Quarters along Law School.
