Tomaro Junior was founded on the 4th of April 2009 by NGO - "Nigeria School Project" based in New Jersey USA headed by Mrs Dena Florczyk. The school was run by the community before it was taken over by the state government in 2010/2011 academic year with pre-students sitting for B.E.C.E
