Barachel consistently makes the top 50 best WAEC result in Nigeria, What today has become a giant oak known as Barachel Group of Schools started as a little seed in 1988. With inspiration from God, Pastor Olusegun Joshua Alonge started what was called Barachel Nursery and Primary School. At that time, he was the head of a primary school along Agbado Road.
