The International School - the University of Lagos, popularly known as ISL, is a post-primary institution governed by the University of Lagos management. It was established in 1982 and in 1983, it moved to its permanent site in the University of Lagos premises.

Owing to the high standard of educated offered by ILS, students from the school are known to come top in academic competitions and quizzes. Also, because of its limitless access to the University of Lagos sports arena, it has bred good athletes who emerge victorious at annual sports competitions. The school has won several trophies and awards, especially in Basketball competitions, which has contributed to the school's reputation as one of the best secondary schools in Nigeria.
