Federal Government College Kano was built in 1973.
Federal Government College Kano was founded in February 1973, with a student population of fewer than 100 pupils in a site that was an abandoned military barrack. However the school had the good fortune of having an experienced and dedicated educationist and administrator, Mr Derek John Bullock, who worked hard to nurture and grow the institution, overcoming immense obstacles, and through his compassionate style and fatherly demeanour, developed a generation of detribalized Nigerian leaders and professionals.
This is a very safe location.
